Now that we’ve produced a high-proofed alcohol, we need to mellow it out, remove any impurities and strip away any off flavours. Always-bondable carbon does a great job and we run it through our custom-made filtration system as many as 6 times before we’re satisfied.
Every batch is tested and blended to suit our tastes, and not sent through so many times that it looses its characteristic flavour. It’s a balancing act to make sure you can still taste what makes New Deal Vodkas and Distilled Products truly local and special.
