Cherry Manhattan

The white dog and cherry in this riff on the classic will even entice seasoned Manhattan lovers!

  • 2 oz Bourbon White Dog Whiskey
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • ¼ oz cherry syrup
  • 3 tart cherries
  • orange twist

In a mixing tin, briefly muddle white dog, vermouth, bitters and cherry syrup with 2 cherries. Add ice and stir for 30 seconds. Strain into martini glass and garnish with remaining cherry and orange twist.

Combine white dog, RAFT syrup, and soda water over ice in a highball glass, mixing gently to incorporate syrup. Top with more ice as needed and garnish with orange wheel.

Strawberry Shortcake Martini

Why bake when you can shake up this scrumptious martini instead?

  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • 2 strawberries
  • 2 oz Bourbon White Dog Whiskey
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 oz simple syrup

Muddle lemon juice and one strawberry in a pint glass. In a shaker, combine white dog, egg white, and simple syrup and dry shake for 30 seconds. Add muddled strawberry and lemon to shaker, top with ice and shake vigorously. Double strain into a stemmed glass and garnish with remaining strawberry.

Kina Julep

A light, herbal twist on the mint julep.

  • ¼ oz fine sugar
  • 10 mint leaves
  • 2 oz Bourbon White Dog Whiskey
  • ½ oz Bradley’s Kina Tonic
  • soda water
  • 1 fresh mint sprig

Muddle mint leaves and sugar in a rocks glass until paste. Add crushed ice, white dog, and Kina Tonic. Top with soda water and stir gently. Garnish with fresh mint sprig.

Swan Island Iced Tea

You’ll long to sit on a dock on the river to sip this tasty cooler.

Stir ingredients together over ice in a highball glass. Top with a dash of soda and a squeeze of lime.

Moonshine in Paradise

The balance of tropical flavors in this martini is as delightful as a stroll along a moonlit beach.

  • 2 oz Rye White Dog Whiskey
  • 1/2 oz mandarin puree (recipe below)
  • 1/4 oz lemon juice
  • 1/4 oz hibiscus simple syrup (recipe below)
  • 1/4 oz New Deal Ginger Liqueur

Combine all ingredients and shake vigorously with ice. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with orange and lemon peel.

Mandarin Puree

  • 3 tangerines (peeled and seeds removed)
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1 T lemon juice

Combined ingredients in blender. Blend on high until smooth.

Hibiscus Simple Syrup

  • 3/4 cup cold-brewed hibiscus tea
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

Heat sugar and water until sugar is fully dissolved. Combine with hibiscus tea.

 

Sazzy Lady

White dog whiskey adds a lovely lightness to this cocktail inspired by the classic Sazerac.

  • 2 oz Rye White Dog Whiskey
  • 1/2 oz honey simple syrup
  • 1/4 oz lemon juice
  • 3 dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters

Combine in mixing vessel with ice, stir & strain into rocks glass over king cube. Garnish with lemon twist.

Dilettante

Dill and rye make this tall, handsome cocktail a great accompaniment for a Scandinavian meal.

  • 2 oz Rye White Dog Whiskey
  • 3/4 oz grapefruit juice
  • 1/4 oz Campari
  • 3/4 oz simple syrup
  • 1 sprig of dill
  • soda water

Muddle dill and simple syrup in bottom of pint glass, add rye, grapefruit, Campari, top with ice and shake thoroughly. Pour over ice in collins glass, top with soda water. Garnish with fresh dill sprig.
