The Roman Holiday

  • 1¾ oz Mud Puddle Bitter Chocolate Vodka
  • ¾ oz orange liqueur (such as Combier or Grand Marnier)
  • Splash orange juice
  • Sparkling water or vanilla cream soda
  • Orange wheel for garnish

Add Mud Puddle, orange liqueur, and orange juice to a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake until cold. Strain into a collins glass, add fresh ice, and top with soda. Garnish with an orange wheel.

Mix ingredients over ice in an old-fashioned glass or highball glass, then top with soda water.

Mud Puddle Bitter Old Fashioned

We knew that chocolate goes well with cherry and orange, but this is beyond delicious.

  • 1½ oz Mud Puddle Bitter Chocolate
  • ½ oz extra dry vermouth
  • ¼ oz simple syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 2 blood orange wheels
  • 2 cherries
  • Soda Water

Muddle 1 orange wheel and 1 cherry in a mixing glass. Add Mud Puddle, vermouth, simple syrup, bitters and ice. Stir until well chilled and strain into old-fashioned glass over a large ice cube. Top with a splash of soda and garnish with an orange wheel and a cherry.

Black Russian Shots

You can sip on this or shoot it, but either way you’re in for a tasty treat that packs just enough caffeine to keep the party going!

For each shot:

  • ½ oz New Deal Mud Puddle Bitter Chocolate Vodka
  • ½ oz New Deal Coffee Liqueur

Pour equals parts Mud Puddle Bitter Chocolate Vodka and Coffee Liqueur into each shot glass or small rocks glass and distribute to guests. If you wish, you can shake the ingredients with ice to chill and then pour the shots, or serve over ice in a rocks glass as a cocktail.

Water Ave Espresso Martini

This rich espresso martini will make the perfect dessert cocktail for your dinner party.

  • 1 oz New Deal Coffee Liqueur
  • 2 oz New Deal Mud Puddle Bitter Chocolate Vodka
  • 2 shots of Water Avenue Espresso

Shake all ingredients with ice until well chilled and strain into a martini glass.

  • 1½ oz New Deal Mud Puddle Bitter Chocolate Vodka
  • 1 oz Campari
  • 1 oz Vida Mezcal
  • Bar spoon 2:1 Demerara sugar simple syrup
  • 4 drops salt water
  • Orange oil garnish

Serve up in a coupe.

Ground Control to Major Tom: This drink is hunky dory!

  • 2½ oz Mud Puddle Bitter Chocolate Vodka
  • ½ oz bourbon
  • 2 orange wedges

Muddle 1 orange wedge in a cocktail shaker. Add Mud Puddle, bourbon, and ice. Shake until chilled and double strain over a large ice cube into an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with the other orange wedge and enjoy.

Mocha Martini

  • 1½ oz Mud Puddle Bitter Chocolate Vodka
  • 1½ oz Portland Vodka
  • 1 oz Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur
  • 1 oz New Deal Coffee Liqueur
  • splash of cream

Shake with ice and serve up in a martini glass.

Chocolate Grove

  • 2 oz Mud Puddle Bitter Chocolate Vodka
  • ½ oz Luxardo Maraschino Cherry Liqueur
  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • ½ oz orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon marmalade
  • 1 lemon twist for garnish

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

  • 1 ½ oz Mud Puddle Bitter Chocolate Vodka
  • 1 ½ oz New Deal Coffee Liqueur
  • 1 generous splash of  half and half

Build all ingredients over ice in a rocks glass.
