French 75

This drink seems too delightful to be named after the kick of a WWI French field gun.

  • 1 oz Portland Dry Gin 33
  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • sparkling wine
  • 1 lemon peel for garnish

Combine gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shaker until cold. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and top with sparkline wine. Garnish with a lemon peel.

Herbal Remedy

This herbaceous elixir is equally sublime as an aperitif or digestif.

  • 1 oz New Deal Gin No. 1
  • 1 oz Cascadia American Bitter Liqueur
  • ¼ oz lemon juice
  • 1 rosemary sprig for garnish

Combine all ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker and shake until chilled. Fine strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a rosemary sprig.

You’ll love how the bitter liqueur plays with the sweetness of honey and vermouth in this Negroni-inspired concoction.

  • 1½ oz New Deal Gin No. 1
  • ½ oz Cascadia American Bitter Liqueur
  • ½ oz dry vermouth
  • ½ oz sweet vermouth
  • ½ oz honey syrup
  • 1 dash The Bitter Housewife Grapefruit Bitters
  • 1 lemon twist for garnish

Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass over ice and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Gin Tarragon Sour

This botanical sour recipe has a wealth of complimentary ingredients anchored by our hearty Gin No. 1.

  • 1 ½ oz New Deal Gin No. 1
  • ½ oz Fresh Grapefruit
  • ½ oz Fresh Lemon
  • ¾ Honey Syrup (honey diluted with equal parts water)
  • ½ oz egg white
  • 2 large sprigs of tarragon
  • 2 oz dry sparkling wine

Dry shake all ingredients, except the wine, without ice. Re-shake with ice and double strain into 8 oz coup glass. Top with dry sparkling wine. Garnish with a small tarragon tip.

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake well with ice. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass and garnish with a lime wheel.
