Kentucky Corsage

Conjure a classic Southern soirée with this spiced citrus bourbon punch.

  • 1 bottle (375ml) Distiller’s Workshop Bourbon Whiskey
  • 6 oz New Deal Ginger Liqueur
  • 8 oz orange juice
  • 4 oz lemon juice
  • 4 oz simple syrup
  • 12 oz The Jasmine Pearl Orange Spice Tea, cold-brewed (recipe below)
  • 12 oz sparkling water
  • 1/2 oz The Bitter Housewife Orange Bitters
  • 1/2 oz The Bitter Housewife Aromatic Bitters

Combine all ingredients in a standard-sized punch bowl. Serve over ice in 4 -5 oz cups. Makes 10-15 servings.

Cold-Brewed Orange Spice Tea: Combine 3 tsp The Jasmine Pearl Orange Spice Tea loose-leaf tea with 24 oz cool water. Place in fridge overnight (10-14 hours). Strain off liquid and add to punch bowl or store in fridge for up to three days.

Jack Knife

Delight your palate with this creative concoction of bittersweet and smoky while you warm up after a day on the slopes.

  • 2 oz Distiller’s Workshop Smoked Bourbon Whiskey
  • ½ oz Cascadia d’Amore American Bitter Liqueur
  • ½ oz maple syrup
  • 1 dash The Bitter Housewife Barrel-Aged Bitters
  • 1 orange zest for garnish

Combine all ingredients in a rocks glass over a large ice cube and stir to incorporate. Garnish with orange zest.

Classic Hot Toddy

  • 1½ oz New Deal Bourbon or New Deal Brandy
  • 1 T honey
  • ½ oz fresh-squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup hot water
  • lemon wedge, cinnamon stick, whole cloves, whole star anise

Place one lemon wedge, one cinnamon stick, 5 whole cloves, and one whole star anise into a warmed mug. Pour the bourbon or brandy and lemon juice over spices. Add hot water and stir in honey until dissolved.

Ground Control to Major Tom: This drink is hunky dory!

  • 2½ oz Mud Puddle Bitter Chocolate Vodka
  • ½ oz bourbon
  • 2 orange wedges

Muddle 1 orange wedge in a cocktail shaker. Add Mud Puddle, bourbon, and ice. Shake until chilled and double strain over a large ice cube into an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with the other orange wedge and enjoy.
